As
a special one-off appearance, Joe Locke will be following an invitation by the Royal Academy's Timpani and Percussion Department for a new edition of the highly successful 'An Evening with' events. The concert will include an interview with Joe by Neil Percy, Principal Percussionist with the London Symphony Orchestra and Head of the Timpani and Percussion Department, providing a fascinating insight into Joe's career, influences and his approach to improvisation, and showcase the premiere of new music for vibes and percussion ensemble.
